Annette is the Program Manager for the Massachusetts Community Engagement Alliance (MA CEAL) and is responsible for managing the program's day-to-day activities, as well as community engagement and research initiatives. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Global Health, and has a broad range of skills in identifying and defining health concerns in underserved populations. Her interest in this field began after interacting with migrant populations who shared their health-related stories, fears, hopes, and dreams. She believes that open communication, active listening, and courageous conversations in underserved populations are essential for building trust and improving health outcomes. Annette has worked on several project initiatives including working with IRBs, clinical trials, enrollments, and community advisory boards. Annette is excited to join the External Expert Panel for the NIH Build UP Trust Challenge and believes that her passion and experience will make a significant contribution to the program.
